Put the diced carrots and potatoes in a saucepan with the stock and bring to the boil. Now stir in the sugar and close the pot with a lid. After approx. 10 min. Then add butter and cream and simmer for approx. 10 min. Finally fold in the parsley and season with salt and pepper.
Tastes delicious with roasted meat, fish or fish fingers or with wiener sausages (then cut them into small pieces and heat them with the vegetables).
My children and their friends love this witch vegetable - you can also add kohlrabi, zucchini etc. to it.
