Peel the potatoes, boil them in salted water, drain and mash them.
Heat some butter in a saucepan and lightly brown the onions in it. Add some water, dissolve the bouillon cube in it and cook the carrots in it. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar. At the end of the cooking time add some cream and the parsley and fold in the mashed potatoes.
This fits e.g., meatballs, fried black pudding or fried panhas.
