Instructions

  1. Cook the cauliflower florets in boiling salted water for approx. 8 minutes, drain, set aside 500 ml of the cooking water.
  2. Grease a baking dish, add the cauliflower florets and the boiled ham.
  3. Heat the butter in a saucepan, sweat the flour in it while stirring, gradually stir in the cauliflower water with the whisk and simmer until thick over a mild heat. Cut the processed cheese into small pieces, add to the sauce, melt while stirring, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and pour over the cauliflower and ham mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for approx. 40 minutes.
