Instructions

  1. Cut the cauliflower into florets and cook in salted water for 10 minutes. Cook the noodles al dente too. Chop the ham into small cubes.
  2. Melt the margarine in a small saucepan, sprinkle in the flour and sweat it out. Gradually deglaze with the broth and milk and season the roux with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Melt the processed cheese in flakes.
  3. Line a baking dish with butter or margarine. Mix in the drained cauliflower, pasta and diced ham. Pour the sauce over it. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
