Instructions

  1. Peel the celery and potatoes and cut into slices of the same thickness. Grease the baking dish (in my opinion it is not necessary).
  2. First cover the bottom of the baking dish with potato slices. Then pour some cream on top so that the slices are lightly covered with cream. Then salt and pepper (be careful with the pepper from the mill, otherwise the casserole will be too hot). Scatter some grated cheese on top. Now place the celery slices in the baking dish. Pour some cream over it again, season with salt and pepper again and sprinkle some cheese over it. Repeat this until all the ingredients have been used up or the casserole dish is full. Finish layering with cream and then season with salt and pepper again.
  3. Now place the mold in the preheated oven for approx. 60 minutes at 200 ° C. Ultimately, the time depends on how quickly the potato and celery slices are cooked. Test this in between with a stick sample.
  4. As soon as the potato and celery slices are done, sprinkle any remaining casserole cheese over them and place in the oven again until the cheese is golden brown. Serve immediately.
  5. Tastes delicious and is actually prepared super quickly.
