Peel and roughly chop the celery, cover with water and cook until it is soft. In the meantime, reduce 400 ml red wine to a low simmer until about half is left.
Chop up the celery with the hand blender, add the wine and cream, salt or add the vegetable stock cubes.
If you want, you can also cook and puree 3 potatoes.
The red wine celery soup is differently popular. Some are enthusiastic, others don`t like it at all. Anyway, it`s a very healthy dish.
