Instructions

  1. Dice the red onions and garlic cloves finely. Finely chop the parsley.
  2. Put the minced meat in a large mixing bowl with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the prepared onions, garlic, and parsley. Add both paprika powders, baking soda, breadcrumbs, fondor, salt, and pepper. Mix well with a hand mixer dough hook. Gradually add water, up to 3 tablespoons, until you reach the desired consistency. Refrigerate for 24 hours so the spices can soak through.
  3. Shape the mixture into thumb-sized rolls. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Fry the rolls, turning frequently, until evenly browned.
  4. Serve with rice and colorful paprika vegetables, browned onion rings, or mashed potatoes with bacon beans. Can also be served as finger food at a buffet.
