Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven (top / bottom heat: 200 ° C, circulating air: 180 ° C, gas: see manufacturer).
  2. Whisk the eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Cut the ham into wide strips and the cheese into slices.
  3. Heat the butter in an ovenproof pan. Pour in the eggs and let them set slightly over low heat. When the egg mixture is still a little runny on the surface, spread the ham and cheese on top. Bake the omelette in the hot oven for about 15 minutes until the cheese has melted.
  4. In the meantime, wash the rocket and drain.
  5. Take the omelette out of the oven and serve sprinkled with rocket and pepper.
  6. Veggie variant: If you want to do without meat, take 150 g of mushrooms or oyster mushrooms instead of ham. Cut the mushrooms into slices or pieces and fry them in the butter first. Then pour in the beaten eggs.
  7. The recipe can also be varied. Also tastes good with grated Emmentaler or Gouda. Or instead of ham, sliced sausages / kabanossi (fry them briefly in the pan beforehand - see veggie option). So there are many options. Enjoy the meal.
