Clean and wash the peppers. Finely (!) Dice each ½ red and green pods. Soak the rolls in lukewarm water. Dice 2 onions.
Knead the minced meat, squeezed bun, egg and diced paprika and onion. Season well with salt, pepper and chilli powder. Cut the cheese into 8 cubes.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Shape the meat dough into 8 meatballs, pressing 1 cheese cube into the center each time. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side over medium heat.
Mix vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and 4 tablespoons of oil. Cut the remaining peppers and onions into small pieces. Mix both with the salad sauce and let it steep for a moment. Serve with the meatballs.
