• 200 g mountain cheese, rated

Instructions

1. Cook the spaetzle according to the packet instructions. Drain well.
2. Chop the onions and slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the onions and mushrooms, and cook for 3-4 min until softened.
4. Add the drained spaetzle to the pan and stir to combine.
5. Reduce heat to medium. Pour in the cream and stir gently to combine.
6. Add the grated cheese and fold gently for 1-2 min until melted.
7. Serve sprinkled with snipped chives.
