Instructions

  1. Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl. Add the egg. Add sugar, semolina and salt. Mix thoroughly by rubbing the curd lumps with a spoon. Set the bowl of curd aside for about 20 minutes so that the semolina has time to swell, but for now, prepare the cherries.
  2. Sort cherries, rinse, pat dry on a paper towel. Remove pits from cherries. Combine sugar and starch in a separate bowl. Stir. Transfer the prepared cherries here and mix again.
  3. Divide the curd mass into 6 equal parts with your hands moistened with water. Take one part of the curd mass and form a cake out of it on a floured work surface. Place 4-5 cherries in the center of the curd cake.
  4. Cover the cherries with the edges of the curd tortilla and shape into a round, flat piece so that the filling is not visible anywhere. Thus, prepare 5 more syrniki. Put cheese cakes in a frying pan preheated with vegetable oil. Fry the syrniki over a slightly low-medium heat for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until a beautiful golden brown crust. In this way, fry all the cheese cakes. Cheesecakes with cherry filling are ready. Great dessert, breakfast or afternoon tea.

Bon Appetit!
