Pour the glass of sour cherries into a large saucepan. Fill the glass with water and add to the cherries. Depending on your taste, you can add 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar to the cherries. Now bring the cherries to a boil.
In the meantime, the dough for the Klütt (dumplings) is made. Mix eggs, flour and milk into a relatively firm dough and then add sugar to taste. Form small dumplings with two spoons and add to the boiling cherries.
When all the dumplings float on top, the dish is ready. It can now be served hot or cold.
