Freeze the marzipan mixture (I do this overnight) so it is easier to grate on the grater or in the food processor. Sort, wash and stone the cherries, drain the cherries from the glass well on a sieve. Then mix with the 2 tablespoons of almonds.
Brush the glasses with oil. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C top and bottom heat or 160 ° C convection.
Grate the marzipan mixture, stir the butter, sugar and bitter almond oil until creamy. Gradually stir in the eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Fold in the cherries. Pour the dough into glasses and bake on the rack in the oven (middle rack) for 35-40 minutes.
Take the jars out of the oven and immediately close the lids and let them cool down
The glasses keep well chilled for at least 2 weeks, if not longer, I haven`t really been able to test it yet.
