Instructions

1. Melt the butter, then add the chopped chocolate and stir until it has dissolved. Stir in the sugar and a good dash of Cointreau. Then add the eggs. Mix the almonds, flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla and stir into the mixture. The cherries must drain, then they are dusted with flour and folded in.
2. Either line the form with baking paper or grease it thoroughly, preheat the oven to 160 ° C. Pour in the mixture and bake for 40 minutes. Be careful: Please adjust the heat and the duration to the conditions of your own oven and be careful the first time.
3. You can also prepare an orange cream with it, but personally, the cake tastes best for me without anything.
