I set a recipe for fake Mon Cheri. I advised you to keep the rum and cherry juice, which you don`t need for the recipe. This recipe is, so to speak, the use of leftovers for the juice and the rum.
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and stir occasionally so that the vanilla sugar dissolves.
The liqueur can be drunk immediately. Shake briefly before serving. It`s super tasty and not that alcoholic.
Filled in beautiful bottles, the liqueur is a nice gift for Christmas or other festive days.
If you want, you can of course use more rum or take less syrup, then the liqueur will not be as sweet.
