- Stone the cherries and halve them if necessary. Mix in a saucepan with the citric acid and the preserving sugar.
- Let stand for approx. 2 hours, then bring to the boil, let boil for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, pour in the amaretto and stir.
- Immediately fill twist off glasses, close and place on the lid (approx. 20 minutes)
- I was able to fill 6 glasses of 150 ml each with it.
