Instructions

  1. Put the flour, sugar, eggs, oil, lemonade (optionally also seltzer), baking powder and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl and use the mixer on the highest setting for 3 minutes to form a homogeneous dough. I always like to add a dash of eggnog.
  2. Now place the dough on a greased baking tray and let it flow into all corners by gently swiveling it. Then distribute the drained cherries on the dough. Now bake on the middle rack for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees (convection) until golden brown. Then simply sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on the hot cake. It smells delicious and tastes great.
  3. By the way, you can of course also add other fruits to the dough. Or use powdered sugar as a garnish.
