Instructions

  2. Mix the softened butter, sugar and salt with a hand mixer until creamy, then gradually add the eggs and stir in. Stir in the sour cream and amaretto. Mix the flour with baking powder and baking soda and finally mix in.
  3. Then place the dough on a buttered tray, sprinkled with breadcrumbs or lined with baking paper, and cover with the cherries. Bake for about 40 minutes, until the cake is golden yellow.
  4. In the meantime, mix the icing sugar and lemon juice and spread the cake with it while it is still hot.
  5. This cake is very fluffy and, thanks to the sour cream, is nice and juicy, and it tastes very good the next day.
