Separate eggs. Beat egg yolks with butter, sugar and cinnamon until frothy. Wash the cherries well and drain them.
Preheat the oven to 180 °.
Warm the milk slightly. Cut the rolls into small pieces, pour the warmed milk over them and let them soak. Then mix with the egg yolk mixture and the cherries. Beat egg whites into egg whites and fold in.
Grease a cake tin with butter, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and pour the dough into the tin.
