Instructions

  1. Dough:
  2. Warm the milk, dissolve the yeast in it. Mix the sugar, flour and a pinch of salt. Mix the yeast milk with the batter. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes. Knead the egg and butter into the dough using the dough hook. Cover again and let rise for 30 minutes.
  3. Shape the yeast into a 5 cm thick roll and cut it into 4 cm thick slices. Roll out the yeast loaf approx. 1 cm thick, let rise again.

  6. Top the yeast loaf with the quark mixture and cherries. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 25 minutes (convection: 180 ° C). Let cool down.
  7. Mix powdered sugar with water. Spread the icing over the cakes and let it set.
