- Wash and core the cherries. Boil in 3/4 L water with added sugar, a pinch of cinnamon, lemon juice and a piece of lemon peel until soft.
- With cornstarch mixed in 1 tablespoon of water, make it slightly creamy
- TIP:
- The soup can be served warm or cold. Snow dumplings, for example, are suitable as an insert.
- VARIATION:
- The cherries can be replaced with other fresh fruit, e.g. apples, pears, plums, berries, rhubarb.
