Instructions

  1. Drain the cherries on a sieve while collecting the juice. Mix the pudding powder with 40 g sugar and 6 tablespoon cherry juice well. Fill up the remaining cherry juice with water to 450 ml and bring to the boil in a saucepan. Stir in the mixed pudding powder, bring to the boil again and cook for about 1 minute while stirring. Stir in the cherries. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Mix the flour, 200 g sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg yolks and butter. First knead everything with the dough hook of the hand mixer, then with your hands to make sprinkles. Put 2/3 of the crumble in a greased springform pan (26 cm) and press down to form a smooth base.
  3. Spread the cherry pudding on the floor. Scatter the remaining sprinkles on top.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 200 ° C / convection: 175 ° / gas: level 3) for 35 - 40 minutes. Let cool down. Dust the edge with powdered sugar.
