Instructions

  1. Halve half of the cherry tomatoes (preferably the larger ones).
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and stew the onion over medium heat for about 4 minutes. Stir well. Now add all the tomatoes and stew for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, crushing some tomatoes a little.
  3. Now add 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and season with salt and pepper. Finally add the chives and serve warm or at room temperature.
  4. Tastes very good with fried fish or meat, but can also be served with pasta.
