Instructions

1. Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and marzipan until creamy. Stir in eggs one at a time. Add lemon juice. Mix the flour and baking powder, sieve onto the egg mixture and carefully fold in. Spread the batter in a deep dripping pan. Top with cherries and sprinkle with sugar.
