Instructions

  1. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into pieces. Put in a baking dish.
  2. Peel the onion, dice it finely and fry it in hot olive oil. Add tomato paste and sweat briefly. Then deglaze with water and stir in the stock cube. Season with salt, pepper and basil (please do not save on the salt, the sauce should really be a little too salty because the potatoes need all the salt). Bring to the boil and pour over the potatoes.
  3. Wash and pat dry the chicken legs and season with salt and paprika powder. Place the legs on top of the potatoes.
  4. Let everything simmer in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for approx. 45 minutes. Serve immediately.
  5. Tip: You can also add tomatoes cut into cubes shortly before the end of the cooking time.
