Butter a baking dish and preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Wash the chicken breast fillets and season with salt and pepper.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour. When the mixture is golden brown, add the stock and stir well. Bring to the boil once and gradually stir in the cream. Bring to the boil and remove from the plate. Add the herbs to the sauce and season with salt, pepper, sugar and lemon juice.
Cover the bottom of the baking dish with sauce. Now place the chicken breast fillets side by side in the dish and pour the remaining sauce over them. Grate the cheese and sprinkle over the casserole. Cook the casserole in the oven for about 30 minutes.
It is ideally served with ribbon noodles and cucumber salad.
