Chicken Drumsticks Marinated in Kefir Instructions

  1. Rinse the 6 chicken drumsticks with water.
  2. Press 4 garlic cloves into a bowl.
  3. Squeeze the juice from 1/4 of a lemon into the bowl.
  4. Add 1 tbsp mustard, 0.5 tsp thyme, 1 tsp salt, and 0.5 tsp black pepper to the bowl.
  5. Add 200 g kefir and stir until combined.
  6. Place the drumsticks in the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  8. Lightly coat a baking dish with vegetable oil and arrange the marinated drumsticks in it.
  9. Slice the squeezed lemon and arrange the slices between the drumsticks.
  10. Bake for 1 hour until the chicken reaches 74°C (165°F) at the thickest part.
