Instructions

  1. First peel the onions and cut in half, if larger, quarter. Wash the grapes. Then cut the chicken drumsticks once and season well with salt and pepper.
  2. Now preheat the oven to 210 degrees top and bottom heat (190 degrees circulating air).
  3. Put the oil in a non-stick pan and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown.
  4. Then remove and place in a roasting pan or casserole dish with the onions, thyme, rosemary and the stock. Fry the whole thing in the oven for about 30 minutes. Add grapes and finish cooking in 20-30 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, quarter the pumpkin and remove the seeds. Cut the pumpkin into small cubes, then cook in salted water for about 2 minutes or more until soft. Drain the pumpkin, drain well and return to the saucepan. Add the butter and mash everything well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Take the chicken drumsticks out of the oven and serve with the pumpkin mash.
  7. If you don`t really like pumpkin, you can also mash it with potatoes or both, also very tasty.
