Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast fillets into long, 1 cm wide strips. Beat the buttermilk, egg and garlic, place over the fillet strips in a bowl, cover and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  2. In a large plastic bag, mix the flour, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper to taste and baking powder.
  3. Drain the chicken well (discard the buttermilk), add to the flour mixture and shake until the strips are breaded.
  4. Heat the oil in a high saucepan to 190 °. Add the chicken strips in portions after shaking off any excess breading. Fry until golden brown.
  5. Serve with barbecue sauce or Sweet * nSour sauce for dipping.
