Dice the onion and sauté in a little hot oil, then add the roughly chopped chicken and the diced peppers and sauté over medium heat. Pour in the Vegeta, salt, paprika powder and water and bring to the boil. Add diced potatoes.
After about 60 minutes, add the dumplings. To do this, mix the egg with the Vegeta, salt and semolina until you get a pulpy mixture. Cut the dumplings with two teaspoons and add to the soup and leave for about 10 minutes.
This goes well with pasta, mashed potatoes, white bread.
