Today I am preparing chicken fillet with broccoli and carrots in a tender sauce. Pre-marinate chicken fillet. For the sauce, I use not only cream but also cream cheese, thanks to which the sauce is rich and silky. Soft chicken, tender broccoli – and all with a pleasant creamy taste!
We wash the chicken breast, dry it and cut it into medium-sized oblong pieces.
For the marinade, combine soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, chopped garlic, a mixture of herbs, and ground pepper (0.25 teaspoon).
Put the chopped chicken in the marinade, mix, and leave for 20-30 minutes.
While the fillet is marinating, prepare the vegetables. Peel the carrots, rinse and rub on a coarse grater. Divide the cabbage into inflorescences and wash.
Put the chicken together with the sauce in a preheated pan, cook for 5-6 minutes under the lid, stirring several times.
Add grated carrots to the chicken. Mix and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add broccoli, mix the contents of the pan and cook for another 7 minutes under the lid.
Combine cream cheese with cream, stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Pour chicken with vegetables with this mixture, add salt and the remaining ground pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer the contents of the pan over low heat for 10 minutes, until the chicken is cooked.
Chicken stewed with broccoli, in a creamy sauce, ready. The dish goes well with any side dish.
