Wash the chicken or chicken legs and pat dry. Remove the needles from the rosemary and finely chop them together with the chilli pepper and cloves of garlic. Then pound the remaining ingredients in a mortar to a paste. Brush the chicken or the thighs with it and let it soak for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Then fry the chicken in the oven at 200 degrees for about 45 minutes. The legs only take about 30 minutes, depending on their thickness.
