Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into mouth-sized pieces.
  2. Put the sugar, mirin, sake and soy sauce in a small bowl and stir well until the sugar is dissolved. Marinate the chicken breast for at least 20 minutes. In the meantime, cut the spring onions into small pieces.
  3. Heat the pan with a little oil and add the meat. Now cook the meat through at medium temperature. When everything is done and the chicken has even got some color, add the marinade and heat. Then turn off the stove and stir in the spring onions quickly so that they get a little warm but don`t overcook.
  4. Rice goes great with it. The sauce tastes very sweet and is definitely something for everyone with a sweet tooth.
