Dice ham and pickles. Mix with the raw ham and chopped herbs. Mix together the tomato paste, ajvar, stock and creme fraiche.
Drain the pasta and place in a baking dish. Mix in the ham / cucumber mixture and some of the sauce. Place the chicory on top of the pasta, cover with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
