Clean the chicory and remove the bitter part, add salted water and cook the chicory in it until firm to the bite.
Scatter breadcrumbs in a baking dish and place a layer of chicory on top. Pull the chicory apart a little so that it fills the shape a little. And then again spread breadcrumbs and a few flakes of butter on top and so on.
Finally, again breadcrumbs and a few flakes of butter, so that the whole thing is not so boring.
Then put the whole thing in the oven at 200 degrees until the butter has melted nicely.
