Instructions

  1. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into strips approx. 2-3 cm thick. Cut the mozzarella into cubes or use mozzarella mini balls. Shape the raw sausage into small balls and cut the salami and ham slices into strips.
  2. Now alternately stick a piece of raw sausage and then a piece of mozzarella (or ham or salami) on long wooden skewers. Then brush the whole thing with pizza or tomato sauce and sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan. Wrap the pizza dough strips around them and coat the top with a little tomato sauce and sprinkle with parmesan.
  3. Put the skewers in the hot oven at about 200 ° C for about 10-15 minutes until they are nice and crispy.
  4. Tip: So far I`ve only made the skewers with boiled ham, salami and raw sausage, but I can also imagine them with salmon or vegetables. And if you want a Margherita pizza skewer, simply leave out the filling and wrap the dough around the wooden skewer. Then brush with sauce and put very thin mozzarella slices on top and sprinkle with parmesan.
