Beat the butter, powdered sugar and salt until creamy, gradually add the eggs and continue beating. Mix the flour and baking powder. Alternately add flour, yoghurt and milk and stir well. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
Then bake golden yellow waffles from the batter in the greased waffle iron. I use 2 large tablespoons of batter per waffle. Makes 8 pieces.
Also tastes delicious as a dessert with vanilla ice cream and a dash of maple syrup. My husband likes them with blueberries in the batter.
