Mix the minced meat with the egg yolk, pepper, salt, lemon thyme, marjoram, mustard, half of the garlic, 1/2 chilli pepper and 1/2 finely chopped onion. Cut the feta cheese into cubes. Shape small meatballs and fill each with a cube of feta cheese. Fry in oil and keep warm.
Fry the peppers in the frying fat with the remaining onion cut into strips. Add tomato paste, remaining garlic and chilli, pour in water and reduce a little. Squeeze the lime. Season the vegetables with pepper, salt, paprika, lime juice and sugar.
Add the meatballs and sprinkle with the rest of the feta cheese.
Basmati rice tastes good with it.
Tip:
The amount of chilli depends on your own taste.
If you don`t have lemon thyme, you can also use normal ones and add some grated lemon zest to the minced meat.
