In a bowl, mix the minced meat with the onion, herbs, chilli, salt, garlic and pepper and knead well. Now quarter the whole thing and form the same size, approx. 3 cm thick burger patties.
Prepare the grill and let it glow well. Place the burgers on the grill and cook on high, direct heat for 10-12 minutes with the lid closed. Turn once, then they are medium. Place the slice of cheese on top of the burger during the last minute you grill. Place the finished burgers on the burger buns and garnish with a lettuce leaf.
Tip:
It tastes a little better if you briefly roast the burger buns on the grill beforehand!
