Instructions

  1. Dice the onions and peppers. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the minced meat and onion. Season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  2. Mix the corn, kidney beans, bell pepper, chunky tomatoes, chopped chocolate and the onion and mince mixture in the crockpot. Spread 1 - 2 tablespoons of tomato paste over the top. Fill the empty tomato can with water and add it to the crockpot. Mix everything well and season with salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Simmer on high for approx. 3 - 4 hours, stirring occasionally if possible. If necessary, add more liquid as required.
  3. Serve with grated cheese or a dollop of crème fraîche.
