Instructions

  1. Halve the peppers, remove the seeds and white ribs, wash and cut into strips. Scald the tomatoes with boiling water, let them steep in hot water, peel and cut into quarters, removing the stalk. Peel and dice the onions. Cut the bacon into small cubes.
  2. Heat the lard in a high pan and fry the diced bacon in it until translucent. Add the onion cubes and fry them as well. Put the pepper strips and the tomato quarters in the pan, dust them with the paprika powder and simmer the vegetables for 20 minutes over a gentle heat, stirring occasionally. Finally, season with salt.
