Wash the Chinese cabbage and cut into strips approx. 1 cm thick. You can add carrots, cucumber, lamb`s lettuce, etc. as you like, but I think the reduced version is perfect as a starter for sushi.
Mix the remaining ingredients for the dressing. The information for the dressing is a basic stock that should be multiplied as required. As with any salad dressing, the same rule applies: Play with the quantities until you like it.
Serve the Chinese cabbage with the dressing. Finally, roast the sesame seeds until golden brown and pour them over the salad.
I don`t know if it`s really Japanese, we got the salad in the sushi restaurant as a starter (it`s great for this) and the dressing was designed to taste.
