Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Grease a 26cm loaf pan and dust with flour. Mash the bananas very finely with a potato masher to make a puree.
  2. Mix the butter with a mixer with a whisk until foamy and stir in the sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix in the two eggs one at a time. Then stir in the banana mixture and yogurt. Mix the flour with the baking soda and the salt, sieve onto the dough mixture and fold in with a spatula. Then fold in the grated chocolate as well.
  3. Pour the dough into the loaf pan and bake for about 1 hour on the middle rack. It is best to do the first swab sample after 50 minutes. After baking, let the cake cool in the tin for about 10 minutes. Then turn the cake out onto a wire rack and sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.
  4. Tip: You can also replace the yogurt with milk. Then the baking soda has to be replaced by 2 teaspoons of baking powder, since baking soda lacks the acid to react without yogurt.
