- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, peel the beetroot and grate roughly.
- Mix butter with sugar until foamy, add eggs and stir until smooth. Add the melted chocolate, beetroot, flour, almonds and vanilla sugar and mix well.
- Spread the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180 degrees in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Let cool, cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.
