Chop the chocolate into small pieces. Melt together with the butter in a saucepan.
Whip the sugar, eggs, a pinch of salt and a few drops of vanilla flavor until thick and creamy. Then stir in the chocolate-butter mixture and finally the flour.
Pour this mixture onto a baking sheet and smooth it evenly towards the edges.
Bake at 170 ° C on the middle rack for about 15 minutes. Be careful - don`t let it get too dark, otherwise the brownies will get dry!
Take the tray out of the oven. The surface of the dough should be firm and baked through - but it should be able to be pushed back and forth. This means that the pastry is still nice and juicy on the inside. And that`s exactly how the brownies should be: the outer crumb with a bite - and inside still really soft!
Let cool on the baking sheet for at least 30 minutes.
Then cut into small pieces and dust with powdered sugar.
