Instructions

  2. When the time comes, mix the oil, water and vinegar together and mix quickly with the dry ingredients until a smooth batter is formed. Do not stir too long or vigorously, otherwise the baking powder will outgas and have less effect.
  3. Immediately pour the dough into a greased and floured springform pan and put in the oven. Turn back to 150 ° C and bake for approx. 40 minutes (test with chopsticks!). Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  4. Tip: If you want, you can coat the cake with jam while it is still warm, spread the grated nuts on it and cover the whole with a delicious chocolate icing.
  5. The vinegar is needed so that the baking powder works better and all the ingredients combine a little better. You can`t taste the vinegar afterwards either. Lemon juice should also work instead.
