Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Mix the softened butter with margarine and both types of sugar until frothy, until a light, airy mass is formed. Add the eggs one by one and mix well with the batter and vanilla flavor. Now stir in the salt and baking soda. Gradually add the flour and stir well. Finally fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Use a tablespoon to drop walnut-sized blobs onto the baking sheet. It is not necessary to shape the cookies as they will melt in the oven.
  4. Under no circumstances bake for longer than 8-10 minutes! They should be taken out of the oven at the latest when a slight browning can be seen. Remove from the tray with the paper and allow to cool.
