Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the hollows of a muffin tin or put paper liners in them.
  2. Put the flour in a bowl and mix carefully with the baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and cocoa. In another bowl, whisk the egg lightly. Then add the sugar, the vanilla bourbon sugar, the oil or the butter and the buttermilk and stir well. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir only until the dry ingredients are moist.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the tray. Then add 1 piece of Raffaello each and fill with batter until the confectionery is completely covered. Bake in the oven (center, fan oven 160 degrees) for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Let the muffins rest in the baking tray for another 10 minutes, then take them out of the molds and serve warm if you like.
  5. Makes approx. 12-15 pieces.
  6. Note: Be careful not to put too much batter into the molds. Overall, each shape should be about 3/4 full.
  7. Alternative:
  8. Bounty Calapuno can also be used instead of the Raffaellos.
  9. It tastes even better for me personally!
