Instructions

  1. First wash the rice pudding and set it aside. Next, heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a deep saucepan, add the rice pudding and fry briefly in the butter. Then add the milk, sugar and vanilla extract. Alternatively, a vanilla pod can also be cooked and removed later. Bring the rice pudding to the boil, stirring constantly. Turn the temperature of the hotplate down to a low flame, or place the pot on a second hotplate that only heats to a low flame. Now put the lid of the pot on and let it rest for 30 - 45 minutes. Every now and then (about every 10 minutes) you can check that everything is okay and stir it once.
  2. After the resting time, remove from the stove and add the chocolate of your choice and stir until completely melted. Then let it steep for another 30 minutes with the lid closed.
