Instructions

  1. Simmer the frozen 400 g aronia berries in 100 ml water for 15 minutes. Then strain. This makes about 200-300 ml of aronia juice.
  2. Then pit 1600-1800 g mirabelle plums and mix with a hand blender to a pulp, mix in the arnonia juice and pour into a large saucepan. The mirabelle plums and the aronia juice must add up to 2000 g.
  3. Mix 2 packs of Gelfix 1: 1 with 2000 g sugar and stir into the fruit pulp. Bring everything to the boil while stirring. Bring to the boil briefly and then continue to simmer for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour the hot jam into clean jars and close immediately with the screw cap.
  5. By the way, tastes not only on bread or rolls, but also very good in muesli.
